As part of this collaborative program, our group is developing advanced primary human airway epithelial models to investigate respiratory infections and evaluate therapeutic monoclonal antibodies in a physiologically relevant setting. These innovative models capture key features of human mucosal biology, enabling mechanistic studies of host–pathogen interactions and accelerating the translation of antibody-based strategies for respiratory disease prevention and treatment.
